Digital/ICT Assurance & Governance

Congruis provides comprehensive and proven management capability in all the following areas of Digital/ICT assurance and governance:

  • Enterprise Governance
  • Development Assurance and Governance
  • Service Management Assurance and Governance
  • Demonstration of Capability

With its fundamental understanding of all aspects of large-scale secure systems Congruis provides practical capability in all the major assurance and governance disciplines, applied to both Digital/ICT Development and Digital/ICT Service Management. Congruis can assist assurance and governance in all sourcing arrangements, with a considerable number of Congruis’ consultants having experience that has been derived from, and applied to, some of the world’s largest outsourcing contracts.

Congruis’ approach to Enterprise Governance is based on the pragmatic application of standard frameworks (including COBIT) to a particular enterprise taking into consideration the maturity of its development and service operations, and of its assurance and governance capability. Congruis can also support the normalisation of comparators and analysis of performance in benchmarking studies.

Our approaches to Development and Service Assurance and Governance are biased toward action and are based on a practical appreciation of risk management through all phases of the Digital/ICT lifecycle, across all major Digital/ICT systems/components and their uses/misuses. Congruis consultants have the technical knowledge and implementation experience to make practical recommendations at all phases of the development lifecycle (from requirements through design and build to operational readiness) and needs for service intervention (incidents/problems and changes), balancing the need for solution progression with a realistic assessment of associated threats and vulnerabilities.

Used in major UK Digital/ICT procurements, Congruis’ Demonstration of Capability service establishes, manages, observes and summarises the results of a practical demonstration of bidder capability. It enables an organisation to verify the claims of bidder effectiveness and efficiency and to compare and contrast the service capabilities of competing bidders, giving deep insight not only into the ‘measurable’ attributes of each bidder but also into bidder culture through the observation of their beliefs, values and behaviours.
